This automatic cat feeder, also suitable for dogs, serves dry food from a 4 L container at set times, with up to 6 meals a day. It comes in two versions: one is programmed with buttons and a display on the unit, the other is controlled by a phone app over Wi-Fi. Both are available in white or black and are 28 cm high and 19 cm wide.

Who it suits

A good fit if you want your cat or dog fed at fixed times and in fixed portions while you are at work, asleep or out. Choose the button version if you want to set everything on the unit, or the Wi-Fi version if you want to change meals from your phone. The feeder is for dry food only. For sockets in Germany, choose the EU adapter; the USB option comes without an adapter.

Details

Setting up and care

1. Place the feeder on a level floor and connect the USB cable to a socket. For a second power source, insert 3 D batteries into the compartment under the base.
2. Insert the desiccant as described in the manual, fill the container with dry food and close the lid.
3. Button version: set the clock, the meal times and the portions on the unit. Wi-Fi version: connect the feeder to the app as described in the manual and set the meal plan there.
4. Record a voice message if you want your pet called at mealtimes.
5. Wash the food tray, bowl and container regularly and dry them well. Wipe the base with a dry or slightly damp cloth and keep it out of water.
